Hazard Mitigation Plan
The draft 2010 Centre County Hazard Mitigation Plan is available for review and comments. A steering committee consisting of Centre County Office of Emergency Services staff, Centre County Planning and Community Development staff and community representatives completed the plan with the assistance of Michael Baker Jr., Inc. Funding for this plan was provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies the natural and man-made hazards that impact Centre County and local municipalities and provides specific actions to reduce the potential losses from these hazards.
