Impact of the 2010 Census

Participation in this year’s census will directly impact the portion of $400 billion of federal funding that will go to Centre County over the next 10 years. This includes several services that we enjoy as residents such as: hospitals, roads, schools, emergency services, social services, etc. The process has become simplified and requires the answering of only 10 short questions. Be sure to keep your eye out for this year’s Census form and return it promptly to ensure that Centre County receives appropriate funding to thrive and grow over the next decade.
